So I’m really happy right now. Tomorrow night, I’m not only hanging out with the most awesome people, but I’m getting to finish up my film. Then next week, I’m pretty sure it’ll be premiering in the school film festival if I finish it in time. Also, I’m really excited for Summer. It’s going to be a great Summer, I just know it.
So yesterday was Comedy Night at my school. It was amazing! I co-hosted it along with my cousin Jimmy Gubitosi, and…Grizz Chapman from 30 Rock. Everything in the show went flawlessly. When all the videos are uploaded onto YouTube, I’ll post them on here. You’re not gonna wanna miss them. We had some really, really, really funny material. It was just so amazing! Goldentusk from YouTube pre-taped us a video, as well as LA based comedian, Andy Haynes. Throughout the process of the show, I called many celebrity publicists trying to book guests to attend. So I talked to some people a couple months back to get in contact with Woody Allen so I could invite him to the show. On Tuesday, I received an e-mail from his assistant giving us an official statement written by Woody Allen especially for us. When I read it at the show, I don’t think people really understood how big of a deal this was. He said the following:
“It’s not enough to be dirty, it’s not enough to be political, it’s not enough to be outrageous — the only thing that means anything in the end is if you are actually funny.”
So yeah, the show was amazing. I can’t wait to do it all again next year.
